Cut, Paste & Reflect: Collage Workshop

  • Exhale Mekelweg 8-10 Delft, ZH, 2628 CN Netherlands (map)

Collage is an art form that serves as a powerful medium for capturing life experiences. Join Helen Hartmann, founder of Collage Kitchen, for a collage workshop exploring the theme of farewells and closures in a warm and creative environment.

This will be a hands-on workshop where you will be encouraged to jump in without overthinking, letting your intuition takeover. You’ll learn some basic principles of collage, such as how to select images, cut, tear, assemble, and glue, as well as how to use collage as a tool for self-expression, self-care, and community-building. Join to disconnect from the digital world, and explore your creativity without digital input.

Please Note: You must bring your own additional materials, such as magazines, old books, flyers, or any other paper items you’d like to use for your collages. We will provide additional supplies, but personal materials will help make your collages more unique and meaningful.

This event takes place in Create.

Reserve you free tickets here.

About Helen:
Helen Hartmann is a British-Dutch freelance writer and translator living in Scheveningen. She is also a keen sea-swimmer and enthusiastic collage-maker.

"I think collage is an accessible form of creative expression, a tool for self-care and a vehicle for community-building. I love the simplicity and versatility of making collages. We’re bombarded with information and images all the time, especially online. Making collage means I'm consciously going offline and filtering the images I want to work with until I settle on something that I am happy with."
