Michiel Huijben
Michiel (he/him) is our Drawing and Architecture studio expert. He is a Dutch visual artist with a background in architectural history and theory. Through performances, videos, research, and writing, his practice considers the interactions between architectural design, politics, and society. Recent works have examined how ideologies materialise in architectural form through themes such as the aesthetics of nationalism and the materiality of the neoliberal city.
As a creative expert, Michiel is available to support students in developing their drawing and architecture projects. He is an active and attentive listener and really tries to understand what a student wants in order to help them achieve their goals.
